|Maura Biamonti lives between Liguria
and the Côte d’Azur. Self-taught, she has
been creating jewels since 1992.
Her production is mainly composed by unique pieces
made of gold and silver, shaped through the cire perdue
She gests her inspiration from decorative Etruscan
motives and through the cire perdue technique she creates
contemporary design jewels with smooth matt surfaces.
She matches metal with precious and semi-precious stones
with unusual shapes and cuts. Glass paste, pearls,
coral, fossils, wood, ancient seals and other materials
from her vast collection of stones and materials from
all over the world are the main components of her jewels.
